Not dead

Noooo... this blog's not dead... just a lil forgotten... hehe...

It's really surprising that I have less time online now than when I was still in Uni. And right now i'm just on part-time jobs... Still have permission from my parents to slack. Jealous? Well, I'm promising myself to be fully on my own in 2-3 months time.... Perhaps sooner.

oh well... all that one can do is wish. So for those curious about what sort of stuff that I long to have, I've posted up my wishlist on the places to go section. :) Thanks to froogle for the wishlish. Now I wish that froogle would have better search results... sigh....

Stupid currency exchange

Sigh.. It's really crap to have such a low exchange rate...

Let me start here:
I'm looking at a few great guitars right now. Absolutely beautiful things. Mid-range sorta prices too! Wouldn't you call 500 midrange? And that's an instrument I can use for life. But wait....... That's 500 in US dollars... if i'm getting paid in US dollars in US wage standards (i think) , say I'm getting about 1k a month right now. And that'd be no problem for me buying that 500-bucks guitar in a month or two's time (taking into account money for living, that is). However, i'm earning RM's... small little buggers.. So in Malaysian wages, i'm earning 1k a month. And the guitar now costs 2k!! i'll be lucky if I can get the guitar in 6 months! Heck, i'll be luckier still if it's sold here in Malaysia... sigh....

Still not too bad, really. At least I still get nasi lemak for less than 2 bucks...! :D
